POLITICAL GROOMING

A Political Communication(Polcom) event happened at the University of Media Arts and communication (Unimac) the south legon campus. This event was coordinated to groom young ones democratically to foster fairness and impartiality in their political stage of life. It was one of the most expensive events ever on campus. Their presentation was well structured and educative which facilitated growth in the areas of political grooming  Politics as we all know is a crucial aspects of democracy which needs much attention for the development of the country. Students of Unimac were given the mandate to display their political talents. They were able to unleash their inner thought and also share a captivating experience to encourage other young ones to work diligently if they are actually interested in politics. OUR CULTURE HERITAGE.

The history of Ghana is a salient aspect of our culture which identifies us where ever we go. It depicts our background and tells more about are origin. Specifically “our dance,our deessing, our dance and our food”. This being a paramount thing to Ghanaians,that is why the University of media Arts and Communication (Unimac) has dedicated a day to display our intriguing culture to the world.   This celebration was held at the south legon.  campus where students were given the opportunity to showcase our Ghanaian Culture especially our local dance such as agbadza, koala go and  also beautiful artifact were displayed. THE FIRE OUTBREAK

  A sad incident occurred at dzorwulu on the 25th of  march 2025. This issue caused residence to lose their properties and also stay homeless. This tragic incident happened in the evening whiles it was raining heavily. Apparently, one of the wires removed from the electrical poles and accidentally fell on a different wire which caused the fire outbreak.  Allergy, some people belongings such as fridges and other electrical gadgets also got damaged due to the how intensive the fire was. This incidence a lot of harm to residence who live near by the fire outbreak damage personal belongings and made most people homeless. This tragic incident made the whole community feel anxious and depressed.This had never happened according the resident they had to face troubles and stress to find a better place to live.  An intriguing event happened in one of the finest Universities in Ghana which is attributed as the best in communication.  This event was held to facilitate students establish good public speaking skills as well as branding themselves for future communicators. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rachel V. Brown Confidence is a way to enable individuals speak eloquently.This helps them express their thoughts and their insight knowledge. Public speaking organized by Dr Brown unleashed a lot of talent in student. INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

 On the 13th of march 2025,an August program held at the University of Media Arts and communication (Unimac) was a salient one which pin pointed out the significant experiences and perspectives on women’s impact in today’s world.International women’s day is a program organised to celebrate the power, resilience and impact of women in shaping our world.  The theme of the program was EMPOWERING WOMEN:Breaking Barriers,Accelerating change.  There were distinguished speakers present at the program and they were  Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings and Ms Obuobia Darko-Opuku.These renowned personalities shared their insight knowledge in order to aid us embrace opportunities in shaping our future.
