INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

 On the 13th of march 2025,an August program held at the University of Media Arts and communication (Unimac) was a salient one which pin pointed out the significant experiences and perspectives on women’s impact in today’s world.International women’s day is a program organised to celebrate the power, resilience and impact of women in shaping our world. 


The theme of the program was EMPOWERING WOMEN:Breaking Barriers,Accelerating change. 


There were distinguished speakers present at the program and they were  Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings and Ms Obuobia Darko-Opuku.These renowned personalities shared their insight knowledge in order to aid us embrace opportunities in shaping our future.

The program impacted positively  in the lives of people especially the youth of our nation.This triggered their insight to encourage them work hard to be a better version of themselves.


The program was to help students especially ladies to unleash their potential skills to work efficiently and effectively. This August celebration was filled with excitement and educational experiences from renowned personalities.


International women’s day celebration was coordinated at the south legon campus to aid individuals share their insight knowledge with young ones. 


The event was educative, informative, captivating, and well structured to arouse their ability to think critically to as well make an impact in society.


Women empowerment is crucial issue in our country. In line with the celebration of the international women’s day, it captured a salient aspect of it which motivated women to put in much effort for a better living.

 An intriguing event happened in one of the finest Universities in Ghana which is attributed as the best in communication.  This event was held to facilitate students establish good public speaking skills as well as branding themselves for future communicators. The event was coordinated by Dr. Rachel V. Brown Confidence is a way to enable individuals speak eloquently.This helps them express their thoughts and their insight knowledge. Public speaking organized by Dr Brown unleashed a lot of talent in student.
